is affiliated to the British & International Federation of Festivals
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
a. All entries must be made on official entry forms, which must reach the Secretary
not later than Saturday 23rd February 2008.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL LATE ENTRIES BE ACCEPTED
b. Entries must include fees which cannot be refunded.
c. The Committee reserves the right to refuse entry and may close classes if they
are oversubscribed.
d. Pieces may not be changed once the entry form has been received.
e. Copies of the pieces must be made available for the Adjudicator at the time of the
festival and be clearly labelled with the class number and the entrant’s name. If
a copy is not provided, we will be unable to award any marks.
f. In all classes where an official accompanist is requested, a copy of the piece
MUST BE enclosed with the entry form. If a copy is not provided, we will be
unable to allow entry. Please note also that, at the time of the festival, you
must provide an original copy for the accompanist to use.
g. The official accompanist will charge a fee of £10 for each half-
with the entrant, with a minimum charge of £10.
h. In all classes where an age limit is stipulated, each competitor must be
within the limit on 1st March 2008.
i. USE OF PHOTOCOPIED OR HAND-
BE ACCEPTED FOR USE. However, an agreement with the Music Publishers’
Association allows one photocopy for Adjudicator’s use only, which will be destroyed
after the festival by the festival administrators.
