Thank you for visiting our website which is based on the printed syllabus, we hope you will decide to enter our Festival.
We try to present a happy, welcoming Festival so that everybody will have a positive experience. Every year we examine how it all went and think about what we can do better. As you will see, we have a list of Rules. Each year we go through them and try to make them fairer, easier to understand and more comprehensive so that anything that could go wrong will be avoided.
At the last festival an entrant in a singing class was not awarded a place because she had inadvertently not complied with one of the rules. When we open the entries we do check them carefully but to our great regret we did not notice the mistake. If we do find something not quite correct about an entry we make every effort to contact the entrant so the matter can be resolved. After all, we want everybody to have a positive experience at the festival.
We look forward to seeing you all in March 2009, back at Woodhey High School. We were very grateful to Tottington High School for providing us with their excellent facilities for 2008 during the building works and now we look forward to seeing the improvements at our original venue.
